  • Lacquered Glass
  • Mirror
  • Frosted Glass
  • UV Printed Glass

Lacquered Glass

Lacquered glass, colored and opaque in appearance, is produced by depositing and then baking a coating of lacquer to one side of clear glass. Lacquer is a solution of film-forming materials, natural or synthetic, usually applied as an ornamental or protective coating.

Once in service, it is a highly durable material, requiring low maintenance, since the lacquer coating is protected by the glass. This product is suitable for all interior surfaces where colour contributes to enhancing an area, including damp or humid rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens. S-Toughen Glasses can be used in domestic and commercial locations such as offices, hotels, museums, theatres and cinemas ;as wall-paneling, in furniture and in wardrobe and cupboard doors.

Mirror

With the evolution of so many incredible mirror shapes, styles and sizes, the age-old looking glass has become much more than a trusty companion to help you get ready in the morning. Mirrors have earned status as an effective interior design tool used to fulfill practical purposes and a multitude of creative motives. Whether you want to add a polished touch to your interiors, make a statement with wall art or amplify light and space, a thoughtfully chosen, well-positioned mirror is the answer.

Frosted Glass

Frosted glass is a glass which has been rendered opaque through a process which roughens or obscures the clear surface of the glass. Frosted glass can enhance the beauty of windows, glass doors, or glass cabinets. This technique adds warmth and style to any décor.

Frosted glass or opaque glass is produced by Glass Etching. Glass etching comprises the techniques of creating art on the surface of glass by applying acidic, caustic, or abrasive substances. Traditionally this is done after the glass is blown or cast, although mold-etching has replaced some forms of surface etching. The removal of minute amounts of glass causes the characteristic rough surface and translucent quality of frosted glass.

A few of the advantages for the use of Acid Etched Glass :

  • Permanent finish that will never degrade or fade over time
  • The matte finish reduces glare, allowing for the practicality of glass, even in high-glare interiors
  • Fingerprints won’t show like on other glossy materials
  • Moisture or natural oils won’t remove the finish
  • Extremely durable – can withstand vigorous cleaning
  • Can be tempered – allowing for use in shower enclosures, railings, and furniture.
  • Can also be back-painted, silvered,…or both,…for beautiful additional effects.
  • And most of all, you will have more privacy when you will use etched glass

UV Printed Glass

Architects and designers around the world are following the trend of using glass as a material of choice for their building projects. The environmental benefits are a factor, as are lower cost and increased design options.

Glass printing uses the latest in printing technology to produce stunning custom printed glass items. We take your photograph, digital image or artwork and create your own unique glass print quickly and easily. A printed glass image is a modern alternative to printing on canvas. Its appeal and style make it perfect for the display of wedding photos, portraits, landscape images or corporate signage. Applications for printing to glass are endless and can include printing images on to glass tables, kitchen splash-backs, shower screens and pool fencing.

We use UV-cured inks which print directly to glass. This makes your glass print waterproof and weatherproof.
